Football player KC Concepcion goes viral for stuttering letter. The Texas A&M wide receiver published an open letter before the NFL draft candidly sharing about his walk with stuttering since childhood. I think it’s one of the best ever written. By the way, he got drafted by the Cleveland Browns in the first round (The Players’ Tribune, 8 minutes).

A new model of stuttering was published attempting to explain every recorded stuttering feature. Including all the old culprits like basal ganglia dopamine dysregulation but adding in necessary causal factors of social evaluation and conscious speech error-monitoring, this paper is THE new seminal work on the cause of stuttering. Preorder a looks-to-be-incredible book on stuttering. Maggie’s Big Break, a middle school novel by stuttering author Jennifer Dickinson, chronicles a 6th-grade girl who stutters as she follows her dream of shining on the theater stage. Ships April 30th. (Amazon).

Drivers who stutter in Tennessee will get easier traffic stops. Tennessee becomes one of the first states to let drivers who stutter register their condition with the DMV so police know about it before they approach the window. Effective July 1, 2026. (The Sun, 2 minutes).

A new Youtube video uploaded by “Travis Stuttering” shows absolutely ballin’ self-advocacy (and the best response). Out to eat at a restaurant, Travis leads his order with disclosure about his stutter. The server’s response is 💯. (Youtube, 1 minute).
